Miss Venezuela 2009

Miss Venezuela 2009, the 56th Miss Venezuela pageant, was held at the Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela, on September 24, 2009.

Stefanía Fernández, Miss Venezuela 2008 and Miss Universe 2009, crowned Miss Miranda, Marelisa Gibson, as her successor at the end of the event. She will compete in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant, where she will try to win a third consecutive Miss Universe crown for Venezuela. The Miss World Venezuela title went to Miss Zulia, Adriana Vasini who will compete in Miss World 2010; and Elizabeth Mosquera, Miss Trujillo, obtained the title of Miss Venezuela International and will compete in Miss International 2010. First Runner Up Mariángela Bonanni was appointed as Miss Venezuela Earth and will compete Miss Earth 2010.
